ABOUT JAPANESE DANCE EXPERIENCE
We are holding a Japanese dance experience specializing in Japanese dance that can only be done here. You will put on a yukata, touch the fan, an indispensable tool in Japanese dance, and actually dance the dance. Music is essential to dance. In Nihon Buyo, we dance to the music of a stringed instrument called shamisen and a percussion instrument called hayashi. Based on the concept of something that can only be done in Japan, we have prepared three courses with the hope that everyone will experience authentic traditional performing arts. You can choose from a dance-only experience to an experience with an orchestra that dances to the performance of traditional Japanese instruments. In common with all courses, you can experience the behavior of wearing a kimono, such as sitting on your knees and saying hello, and walking in a kimono. Japanese dance is one of the traditional Japanese performing arts. I would like as many people as possible to know Japanese dance.
私たちは、ここでしかできない日本舞踊に特化した日本舞踊体験を開催しています。
皆さんには浴衣を着ていただき、日本舞踊で欠かせない大切な道具“扇子”に触れていただき、実際に日本舞踊を踊っていただきます。
そして踊りに欠かせない音楽。
日本舞踊では、三味線という弦楽器とお囃子という打楽器の演奏に合わせて踊ります。
日本でしかできないことをコンセプトに、皆さんに本物の伝統芸能に触れてもらいたいという思いから、3つのコースをご用意いたしました。
踊りだけの体験から日本の伝統楽器の演奏で踊るオーケストラ付きの体験を選ぶことができます。
どのコースにも共通して正座をして挨拶をする、着物を着ての歩くなど着物を着ての所作を体験できます。
日本の伝統芸能の一つ日本舞踊。
1人でも多くの方に日本舞踊を知っていただきたいと思います。

Sakura edition
〜Simple course〜
さくら編
After changing into a yukata over your clothes, the instructor will first give a demonstration of the dance. You will then be given an explanation of the basics of Japanese dance as you learn how to stand, sit straight, bow and properly hold a folding fan. Each piece of choreography will be explained in detail as you learn the dance "Sakura Sakura". Once you have become familiar with the choreography, you will be given the chance to dance along with the music. Finally, you will be able to take a commemorative photo while wearing the yukata.
浴衣に着替えた後、まずは講師によるお手本をご覧いただきます。
その後、日本舞踊について説明をし、立ち方、正座、お辞儀、扇子の持ち方をお稽古します。
日本で有名な「さくらさくら」の曲を使い日本舞踊のお稽古開始です。
ひとつひとつの振りの意味を解説しながら踊ります。慣れてきたら、音楽に合わせて踊ってみましょう。（音源使用）最後は浴衣を着て記念撮影。

Musical accompaniment ~dancing in pairs~
お囃子編
After changing into a yukata over your clothes, the instructor will give a demonstration. You will then be given an explanation of the different types of musical instruments (taiko, shoko, flute) which will explain the many meanings which are derived from a musical instrument's tone. Along with playing the musical instruments, you will be taught the different gestures when wielding a folding fan as you learn the practice of "Fujin Raijin" where participants will dance in pairs. Finally, you will be able to take a commemorative photo while wearing the yukata.

先ずは講師の見本の踊りをご覧いただます。日本舞踊について説明、
お扇子についてレクチャーをした後
楽器(太鼓や小皷、笛)について説明をします。楽器の音色には様々な意味があります。楽器の演奏と共に、お扇子を使い様々な所作をお稽古してみましょう。そして「風神雷神」のお稽古です。体験者さんが二人組んで踊ります。楽器と共に「風神雷神」をお稽古します。(音源＋お囃子)
講師の実演をご覧いただき、最後は皆んなで記念撮影写真！

〜Full course〜
三味線編
After changing into a yukata over your clothes, the instructor will give a brief demonstration of the dance. You will then be given an explanation of the basics of Japanese dance as you learn how to stand, sit straight, bow and properly hold a folding fan. The "shamisen" and different types of musical instruments (taiko, shoko, flute) will be explained including the many meanings which are derived from a musical instrument's tone. You will then begin to learn "Genroku Hanami Odori". Once you have become familiar with the dance, you will be given the chance to practice along with the music. At the end of the lesson, you will be able to watch a final demonstration from the instructor and performers and take a commemorative photo while wearing the yukata.

講師の見本の踊り、日本舞踊の説明、
お扇子についてレクチャーをした後、三味線、楽器(太鼓や小皷、笛)について説明をします。
立ち方・座り方・お辞儀の仕方、
お扇子の扱いを稽古します。
その後「元禄花見踊」のお稽古をします。慣れてきたら、三味線とお囃子
の演奏で踊りましょう。
お稽古の後、講師と演奏者の実演を
ご覧いただき、最後は皆んなで記念撮影をします。

An experience that can only be had in Japan
Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. My name is Haruna Hanayagi, the instructor. My name is long, so please call me Haru. By the way, do you know Japanese dance? What do you imagine when you hear Japanese dance? As you can imagine, it is a traditional Japanese dance in which you wear a kimono and hold a folding fan to Japanese instruments such as the shamisen. Logistics have progressed and the Internet has spread, and most things in the world can now be obtained even in one's own country. But what about each country's unique culture? There must be many experiences that can only be experienced by going to the country and land and meeting the local people. We are holding a Japanese dance experience for foreigners visiting Japan, specializing in Japanese dance, based on the concept of "things that can only be done in Japan". I want as many people as possible to come into contact with Japanese dance and fall in love with it. If you have any requests other than the experience course, please feel free to contact us.

講師の花柳基はるなと申します。名前が長いので、はると呼んで下さい。
ところで、皆さんは日本舞踊を知っていますか？
日本の踊りと聞いてどんなことを想像しますか？
皆さんが、想像するように三味線などの日本の楽器に合わせ扇子を持ち、
着物を着て踊る日本の伝統的な踊りです。
物流が進みインターネットが普及し、世界中にあるおおよその物は自分の国にいても手に入るようになりました。しかし各国独自の文化はどうでしょうか。
これは、その国その土地に行き現地の人と対面しなければ触れられない体験が多く存在するはずです。私たちは“日本でしかできないこと”をコンセプトに日本舞踊に特化した訪日外国人向け体験プログラムを開催しています。
1人でも多くの方に日本舞踊に触れ知っていただき好きになってもらいたいです。

● Instructor profile 講師略歴●
Born in Hokkaido in 1987. From the age of 3, I was taught by her grandmother who is a Japanese dancer.
After graduating from high school, I temporarily quit Japanese dance and entered a hotel vocational school.
Studied in Australia for 10 months while in school. After graduating from school, worked as a trainee at the Hilton Hotel in Guam for one year. After returning to Japan, resumed Japanese dance. Appeared in competitions, NHK, and many stage performances.
Experienced as a lecturer in a Japanese dance experience program for foreigners visiting Japan.
1987年北海道生まれ。3歳より日本舞踊家の祖母より手解きを受ける。
高校卒業後、一旦日本舞踊を辞めホテルの専門学校へ入学。
在学中オーストラリアへ10ヶ月間留学。学校卒業後、グアムのヒルトンホテルで研修生として1年間勤務。
帰国後、日本舞踊再開。日本舞踊協会会員。平成29年日本舞踊協会主催新春舞踊大会にて最優秀賞受賞。
NHKeテレにっぽんの芸能、NHK主催古典芸能鑑賞会、日本舞踊協会公演、学校巡回公演などに出演。
訪日外国人向け日本舞踊体験プログラムの講師経験あり。
